The Driver Coach terms

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy a review, a coaching session or a simulator from The Driver Coach, or upload files to us. The Driver Coach is a trading name of Alex Waters Racing LLC. Paying or uploading means you accept them. How we handle your information is in our privacy policy.

1. What you're buying

A driver review is coaching feedback prepared by Alex Waters from the onboard video and data you send: a narrated video walk-through when you send video only, a full data review when you send video and data, and a written debrief when you send both. The service is coaching advice. It is not a guarantee of lap time, race results or safety, and you remain responsible for how you drive.

2. Uploads and the 12-hour window

3. Copyright and your review

Your review is prepared for you personally and your private link is yours to keep. The Driver Coach retains copyright in the review, its charts, images and write-up. You may share it with your team, engineer or coach; please don't republish it, sell it or strip the branding.

4. Members archive and promotion

The Driver Coach reserves the right to add reviews to its members-only archive and to use extracts for promotion. All archived reviews are anonymised: names, faces, helmets and number plates are hidden by default, and nothing that identifies you is published without your separate written agreement.

5. Your files

You confirm you have the right to send us the video and data you upload. We keep uploads only as long as needed to prepare, deliver and support your review and to maintain the archive described above. Download links in our emails expire after 14 days; your review link does not.

6. Refunds and changes

If we can't build a review from what you send, we'll tell you and you can send different files or have that credit refunded. Once a review has been delivered it is non-refundable. If you think something in a review is wrong, reply to the delivery email and we'll look at it.

7. Simulators and in-person coaching

Simulator sales include a two-year hardware warranty from delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship, not damage or wear. In-person and live sim coaching sessions are booked by arrangement and are subject to the venue's own rules and waivers.

8. The usual

We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any purchase is limited to what you paid for it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana. Questions: [email protected].
